… as South-South Youth Leaders Visit Uyo
The Akwa Ibom State Coordinator of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors, Obong Prince Ikim, has commended the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for what he described as an inclusive and hope-driven style of governance, while urging sustained support for the President’s re-election and other All Progressives Congress (APC) candidates across the South-South region.
Ikim made the remark midweek in Uyo while receiving a delegation of APC South-South youth leaders drawn from the six states of the region.
Speaking during the meeting, he lauded Nigerian youths for their role in promoting peace and stability in the country, noting that their contributions have helped to strengthen the democratic process and support the policies of the Tinubu administration.
According to him, the South-South region has continued to benefit from the dividends of democracy under the current administration, stressing the need for greater political cooperation and unity among party stakeholders.
“We must continue to work together to sustain the progress being recorded under the Renewed Hope agenda. Our youths must remain peaceful, focused, and committed to nation-building,” he said.
Ikim reiterated the readiness of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors in Akwa Ibom State to mobilise support for President Tinubu, Senate President Godswill Akpabio, Governor Umo Eno, and other APC candidates ahead of future elections.
He also urged youths across the region to remain politically conscious and take advantage of opportunities in education, entrepreneurship, and skills acquisition to improve productivity and self-reliance.
The APC chieftain further advised youths to promote peace, unity, and responsible participation in the democratic process, warning against actions capable of creating political tension and division.
Earlier, the leader of the delegation and APC South-South Youth Leader, Prince Koyoyo Uhrorho, commended Ikim for his leadership style and commitment to grassroots mobilisation, describing him as a stabilising force within the party structure in the region.
Uhrorho said the youth wing of the party remained committed to strengthening APC structures across the South-South and ensuring electoral victories for the party’s candidates.
He called on party members to remain united, disciplined, and dedicated to the collective growth of the APC in the region.
