The Abak, Etim Ekpo and Ika Federal Constituency Hopeful, Engr. Iboro Johnny, Ph.D, has congratulated the President, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR on his emergence as the standard bearer of the All Progressives Congress, APC in the just concluded Presidential Primaries across the nation.
He echoed the congratulatory message at Government Primary School Ikot Obioko in Otoro Ward 2, Abak LGA, on Saturday, May 23, 2026 when he addressed party faithfuls during Primaries to return the President for a second term ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The Abak Federal Constituency Hopeful, Engr. Johnny, described the President’s emergence as a resounding affirmation of visionary leadership, political strength and undeterred commitment to nation building.
Speaking at his ward center in Ikot Obioko during the primary organized to return the President for a second term, he noted that Nigerians have continued to identify with the bold reforms and transformative agenda of President Tinubu’s administration.
“Nigerians, especially citizens from my ward have demonstrated so much love for the President by this singular act of coming out to massively vote for the President to go back to Aso Rock to continue with his unprecedented reforms and economic transformation. This is an indication that the President is loved by the people”
Engr. Iboro Johnny also poured encomiums on the Governor of Akwa Ibom State, Pastor Umo Eno, for the peaceful, transparent and orderly conduct of the primaries across the state, stressing that the exercise reflected maturity, unity and internal democracy within the party.
He applauded party faithfuls, stakeholders, youths and women for their massive participation in the exercise and steadfast support, emphasizing that the successful conduct of the exercise has further strengthened APC ahead of the 2027 elections.
According to him, “the overwhelming turnout and peaceful atmosphere witnessed during the primaries have once again demonstrated the growing acceptance and dominance of the APC as a formidable political force in Nigeria”.
The Otoro -born business Mogul turned polician equally ignited hope among the electorates, saying that “when I finally clinches the party ticket to represent the people of Abak Federal Constituency, I will ensure that development saturates every nook and cranny of this federal constituency, because that is what my representation shall stand for- community development and human capital formation”.
