The Chairman of Trade Union Congress (TUC) Akwa Ibom State Council Akparawa Comrade Kingsley Akpan has congratulated Governor Umo Eno on the occasion of 27 Democracy Anniversary Celebration.
In a congratulatory message signed by the TUC Chairman Akparawa Kingsley Akpan described Governor Umo Eno as a
bridge builder, saying that Trade Union Congress Akwa Ibom State council deem it necessary to celebrate and rejoice with him as Workers Friendly-Governor.
The message said,”The Leadership and entire members of the Trade Union Congress (TUC), Akwa Ibom State Council, heartily write to congratulate you, His Excellency, Pastor Umo Eno, PhD, the Executive Governor of Akwa Ibom State, on the occasion of your 3rd Year Anniversary in office as the Governor of our dear State. Over the past Three years, your administration has demonstrated purposeful leadership, commitment to good governance and unmatched dedication to the welfare and development of Akwa Ibom State. Your people-oriented policies, peaceful disposition and inclusive style of governance have continued to inspire confidence and promote sustainable growth across various sectors of the State economy. We particularly commend Your Excellency for your support towards workers’ welfare, infrastructural development, youth empowerment, agricultural advancement and the promotion of peace and unity among the people of Akwa Ibom State.
As organized labour, we acknowledge your continuous win-win engagement with workers and your unyielding readiness to foster industrial harmony through dialogue and mutual respect. These noble qualities have contributed immensely to the stability and advancement being witnessed in the State today. Message contained that the milestones achievements recorded in three years in office by the governor were poignant testament to the his commitment to the service of the people and the state through the Arise Agenda Five Points Blueprint as a servant leader.
