The International President of Isong Annang Ethnic Forum, Prince Dr Mendy Archibong, has described the President of the Senate, Chief Godswill Akpabio GCON, as “the greatest Senate President in the history of Nigeria.”
Prince Archibong made the assertion in a chat with newsmen in Uyo at the weekend, praising Akpabio’s leadership of the 10th Senate and his role in fostering unity and legislative efficiency within the National Assembly.
According to him, the Senate under Akpabio has demonstrated improved coordination and a cooperative working relationship with the executive arm of government, which he noted is critical for national development.
He further commended the Senate President’s political experience and leadership style, describing it as instrumental in maintaining stability within the legislature.
The International President of the most foremost socio-cultural group in the country used the occasion to outline his strategic agenda for the group, emphasizing that his agenda would focus on Reforming the Heart, and Renewing the Hope of Annang people. He expressed confidence that Isong Annang Ethnic Forum is entering a new era of growth—one where membership is driven by passion and purpose rather than politics, and where every member brings meaningful value.
Also speaking, the International Women Leader, Hon. Emilia Udom acknowledged God’s benevolence upon the life of the Senate President, Senator Godswill Obot Akpabio GCON and assured the Senate President of the unallloyed support from the members of Isong Annang Ethnic Forum for his reelection come 2027.
