—– A’Ibom PDP decampees lament to President Tinubu
By Tony Ukpong
Former PDP stalwarts and supporters, who, recently decamped to APC have cried out to President Ahmed Bola Tinubu to urgently intervene in what they described as ‘well designed plans by Gov Umo Eno, to frustrate them out of partisan politics.
Recall that Governor Umo Eno had on June 6,2025 announced his decision to decamp to the ruling APC, threatening to sack any public office holder, who refused to join him in his new party.
In the wake of this dangerous threat, all PDP supporters and stalwarts alike were forced to empty themselves in APC, the governor’s new found party, believed to be his only option for 2027.
According to sources, while their APC colleagues were having a good deal courtesy of the governor’s benevolence, the PDP decampees are wallowing in abject squalor, as, all of them have been abandoned to their fate.
“Since our dear governor led us by the nose to his ruling APC, he has continued to treat most of us with disdain.
Currently our various families are starving as all the be benefits due us have since been stopped on the orders of the governor”, lamented an aggrieved decampee.
