Nsit Atai Council Boss Empowers Entertainer Through Prosthetic Donation

In a heartwarming demonstration of compassion and leadership, the Executive Chairman of Nsit Atai Local Government Area, Hon. Prince Anthony Nyong, has fulfilled his promise by presenting a prosthetic limb to Godslove Jeremiah, popularly known by his stage name “New Star”.

The presentation took place on Tuesday, August 26, 2025, at Immortal Cosmetic Art, Uyo — a facility owned by an indigene of Nsit Atai. Hon. Nyong had earlier made the commitment during the inauguration of the Ibom Entertainers Forum (IEF), Nsit Atai Chapter, where he pledged to sponsor the medical treatment and prosthetic fitting for the talented musician living with a physical challenge.

Speaking during the event, the Chairman reaffirmed his administration’s resolve to continue touching lives and supporting talents across the local government. “This administration will always do its best to make a difference and give hope to our people. We will continue to key into the humanitarian part of the ARISE Agenda of His Excellency, Pastor Umo Eno, PhD,” he stated.

The Director of Immortal Cosmetic Art expressed gratitude to the Chairman for his kindness and patronage. He noted that Godslove would continue to undergo therapy and training to fully adapt to his new prosthetic limb. He also thanked Hon. Nyong for supporting a facility proudly owned by an indigene of Nsit Atai.

On his part, the Coordinator of Ibom Entertainers Forum in Nsit Atai, Mr Otobong Uko also known as Comedian Skippo, applauded the Chairman for fulfilling his promise, recognizing entertainers in his administration, and extending continuous support to the creative industry in the area.

Overwhelmed with joy, Godslove, who has continued to captivate audiences with his performances despite his physical challenge, described the moment as life-changing and thanked the Chairman for restoring his hope and confidence.
