…as College holds 8th – 13th Combined Convocation Ceremony, Commissioning of TETfund Projects
The Akwa Ibom State College of Education, Afaha Nsit, is set to hold its 8th-13th Combined Convocation Ceremony and Commissioning of Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFund) projects on Friday, October 3, 2025.
According to a statement signed by the Registrar and Secretary to the Academic Board, Barr. Augustine E. Udoibit, the ceremony will take place at the College Sports Grounds by 9:00 am.
The Akwa Ibom State Governor, His Excellency, Pastor Umo Eno, PhD, who is the Visitor of the College, will serve as the Special Guest of Honour, while the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Tertiary Education Trust Fund- TETFund, and former Governor of Katsina State, Rt. Hon. Aminu Bello Masari CFR, will be the Guest of Honour.
The State Commissioner for Education, Professor Ubong E. Umoh, will chair the ceremony, and the Convocation Lecture will be delivered by Professor Matthew Nsing Ogar of the University of Cross River State, Calabar.
The convocation ceremony will cover graduates of the 2015/2016 entry year to the 2019/2020 entry year.
The Provost of the institution, Professor Daniel G. Udo, therefore invites Management, Staff, Students , graduands, Parents, and the general public to attend the academic ceremony.
