… declares support for Tinubu, Akpabio, Umo Eno’s second term bid
A faith-based organization within the All Progressives Congress (APC), the Akwa Ibom Christian Embasssy, Int’l has appealed to Governor Umo Eno to assist the group in securing a befitting office space and in improving the welfare of its members.
The appeal was made on Thursday in Uyo by the Chairman of the group, Apostle Peters Francis Udoh, shortly after their weekly prayer meeting held at Discovery Park, Udo Umana Street, Uyo.
Apostle Udoh explained that the Akwa Ibom Christian Embasssy, established in 2018, has consistently interceded for the success of the APC in the state. He expressed joy that their prayers had been answered with Governor Umo Eno now at the helm of affairs in Akwa Ibom State under the APC platform.
“We are a religious body operating as a chaplaincy within the APC, with membership spread across all 31 local government areas of the state,” Apostle Udo stated. “Our mission is to pray for the success of the APC-led government at both the state and federal levels. We are committed to interceding for President Bola Tinubu, Senate President Godswill Akpabio, and Governor Umo Eno for the realization of their second-term aspirations come 2027.”
He noted that members of the group hold their weekly prayer sessions every Thursday at the APC State Secretariat, No 6 Ekpo Obot Street, Uyo, where they continually seek divine guidance and support for the party and its leaders.
Flanked by members of his executive, Apostle Udoh reaffirmed the group’s commitment to sustaining fervent prayers for the progress and stability of the ruling party and its leadership across all levels of government.
At the Thursday prayer convocation of the Chaplaincy, members drawn from across the State had gathered to pray and intercede for the nation, Nigeria, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Governor Umo Eno, Senator Godswill Akpabio and leaders at all level of governance.
