In a compassionate gesture and in commemoration of the 38th Anniversary of Akwa Ibom State, a non-profit organization, the BlueWay Ocean Foundation, yesterday, September 23, 2025, visited the Divine Children’s Home in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State. The visit was part of the foundation’s vision to give back to society and share love amongst one another.
Led by the Co-Founder of the Foundation, Mr. Rehoboth Umo Eno, he expressed gratitude to God for the 38th Anniversary of the State and congratulated the government and people of the state on the anniversary. Mr. Eno maintained that it was a delight to share love amongst the children on a special day that marks the anniversary of the state. He further preached love and unity among Akwa Ibom people and prayed for the grace of God upon the lives of the children.
Also speaking, the Managing Director of the Foundation, Mr. Iniodu Bassey Ndada, thanked the management of the orphanage home for the good work they have done in providing shelter and hope for the children. He charged the children to be good ambassadors of the state. Mr. Ndada further thanked God for the 38th Anniversary of Akwa Ibom State and highlighted the blessings of God upon the state. While referencing the book of Ezekiel Chapter 20 Vs 12, Mr Ndada, charged the children to keep honouring and obeying those that are taking the lead and caring for them for God’s blessings upon them.
The management of the Divine Children’s Home, in their response, expressed gratitude to the foundation for their visit, which according to them is symbolic, especially on a special day marked to celebrate the state anniversary. He prayed for God to bless and multiply them for their compassionate gesture in reaching out to the children.
The children, who could not hide their joy, thanked the Blue Way Foundation for the love showered on them and also prayed for God’s blessings upon them.
Items donated to the orphanage home included bags of rice, cartons of biscuits, cartons of noodles, beverages, tissue papers, cartons of detergents, and several other items.
The visit was also witnessed by the Director of Programs/Secretary, Prince Michael Etim Edet, the PRO of the foundation, Bishop Goderich Samuel Akpan, and other members of the foundation.
