EXCLUDED APC EXCO MEMBERS LAMENT UNFULFILLED PROMISE
…SEND SOS TO GOV UMO ENO

Some of the excluded ward, chapter and state executive members of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in the State have lamented what they called “unfulfilled promise”.

The aggrieved excluded APC executive members who spoke with Journalists in Uyo over the weekend, regretted that some of those who endured the party’s difficult years and invested their time, resources, energy and personal sacrifices have been removed from the party executive, when the party’s emergence as the ruling political platform in the State should have been a moment of reward and fulfilment.

Speaking on behalf of the aggrieved excluded executive members, Elder Matthew Sunday, hinted that the State Governor, Pastor Umo Eno had assured that those excluded during the reconstitution of the Party executive at all levels, will still receive their entitlement and will also be carried along.

Mr. Sunday lamented that while others have been receiving their monthly stipends and entitlement, the excluded executive members have not received anything as promised by the State Governor.

He further informed that the executive members of the opposition party, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) are still receiving their monthly entitlements from the State Governor, wondering why their own case should be different.

Also speaking, Mrs. Alice Sunday called on the State Governor, Pastor Umo Eno and the Senate President, Chief Godswill Akpabio to investigate the activities of the State APC Chairman, Obong Stephen Ntokekpo, State Secretary, Envoy Nsentip Akpabio, the Secretary to the State Government, Mr. Enobong Uwah and Prince Ikim, concerning removal and substitution of executive members’ list.

The aggrieved excluded party executives however appealed to the State Governor, Pastor Umo Eno to fulfil his promise as according to them, the State Chief Executive is a promise-keeping and God-fearing Governor, and expressed hope that their request will receive favourable response.
