Recently, the Member representing Ukanafun/Oruk Anam Federal Constituency and Chairman, House of Representatives Committee on Public Procurement, Rep. Unyime Idem, Ph.D., joined the Governor of Akwa Ibom State, His Excellency, Pastor Umo Eno, at the Victor Attah International Airport, Uyo, for the official take-off of the maiden international flight from Uyo to Kotoka International Airport, Accra, Ghana.
With the Certificate of Status handed over to Akwa Ibom State by the Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Festus Keyamo, conferring an international status on the Victor Attah International Airport, I specially wish to thank Governor Umo Eno for the massive investment in the aviation sector. It continues to put Akwa Ibom state on the global map as a major aviation and aerospace hub.
