The Deputy House Leader and Member representing Eket State Constituency in the Akwa Ibom State House of Assembly, Hon. Nsidibe Inyang Akata, PhD, has expressed gratitude to constituents for their overwhelming show of love, confidence, and second-term endorsement, vowing to do more in delivering effective representation.
Akata gave the commendation following the endorsement of President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Governor Pastor Umo Bassey Eno, PhD, Senate President Distinguished Senator Godswill Akpabio, and himself for a second term in office at a stakeholdersโ meeting held on April 22, 2026, at the residence of Senatorial District Leader, Barr. Assam Assam, SAN.
He described the turnout of about 4,000 stakeholders from the All Progressives Congress (APC) and other political parties as a strong statement of unity, shared purpose, and belief in the future of Eket State Constituency, noting that he is deeply humbled by the resounding vote of confidence.
According to him, the endorsement is not just a call to continue but a call to do more, as he reaffirmed his commitment to advancing people-oriented policies, deepening development, and ensuring inclusive representation while urging constituents to remain united, focused, and forward-looking.
The lawmaker also appreciated key stakeholders, especially his Primary political benefactor, Mkpisong Frank Archibong, the senatorial district leader, Barr. Assam Assam, SAN, the Executive Chairman of Eiet LGA, Mr. Akaniyene Tommey, party executives, Royal fathers, women, youth, and non-indigenes for their support, emphasizing that their backing remains the backbone of his journey and assuring continued efforts toward building a stronger, more prosperous, and inclusive Eket State Constituency.
