The Meritorious years in the teaching profession of Prof. Etim Udoessien paid off recently with a prestigious honour by the 1973-1975 Pioneer set of the then College of Technology Calabar.
The golden jubilee event took place at Fresh Spring Hotel and Towers, off IBB Way Uyo, Akwa Ibom State, where 1973-1975 Pioneer students of College of Technology Calabar celebrated 50th Anniversary of the Institution. During the event, pioneer lecturers of the institution were singled out for special honour.
Receiving the prestigious award for his outstanding dedication, academic excellence and invaluable contributions to the development of the distinguished professionals of our time, Prof. Etim Udoessien thanked the 1973-1975 pioneer set for the honour done him and other pioneer lecturers of the great institution.
Prof. Udoessien who is also the Director of King’s Kids Christian Schools, Ewet Housing Estate, Uyo, specially thanked God for preserving his life to witness this colourful event and receive this special award in his lifetime, even after 50 years in the teaching business.
Prof. Etim Udoessien charged the upcoming lecturers and teachers to be more serious in their work as the teaching profession is a noble profession that rewards will always come in multiple ways.
He dedicated the special award of Excellence to God Almighty for His special grace upon his life and family.
